Good morning, Happy Tuesday ❤️ It is 5 a.m., and I am sitting in my living room drinking coffee like I do every morning. The heater is on high, and I completely chose to skip my morning workout today. I wanted to finish this post before I started my day. Our family has some BIG news. My sister is PREGNANT! I am going to be a TIA for the third time, and I couldn’t be more excited! There is not much that I love more than being a TIA. Seriously, though, how lucky is our family that we are building our own little village of babies and they get to grow up together? I love that they will get to have each other. My sister and I are really close, and watching her take on the most important role of her life makes me cry happy tears. I still can’t believe my little sister is going to be a mommy!
I can’t wait to bring you along on her journey through my Instagram stories and on my blog. As a mom, I know this will be a big transition for her. Motherhood is something so empowering, so humbling, so pure and so BEAUTIFUL. It’s something so special that we are not really ever prepared for, but everything falls into place on its own. The most rewarding kind of love we can ever receive. Motherhood will be one of the most vulnerable and greatest blessings a woman will ever experience.
I’ve always had this beautiful vision of my parents with a full house of grandchildren. My parents chasing them around; my dad showing them how to ride a bike and my mom showing them how she bakes her cakes. I see that now clearly. I see my own children, I see my two nephews, my future niece or nephew, and I see my future children making that a reality.
