Happy Wednesday, everyone

Today, my baby and I headed out on a little mom and son outing while my two oldest were at school. We drove out to our bigger local barn, and we were so bummed out to discover it was actually closed today. Leave it to me to always check every single detail anywhere we go except for today.  My son absolutely LOVES farm animals, so without a second thought, I got back on the road and drove to the opposite side of town. I was praying that the barn I had in mind would be open today. Every morning during drop-offs, I drive by this tiny barn that my family took pictures at about 10 years ago. They didn’t have animals back then, but as soon as I found out they did now, I knew I had to bring my little animal lover.

I was so happy that we were able to see some cute farm animals. In my opinion, this little barn is better than the bigger barn for little ones because they get more interaction with the animals. Also, I am not a big fan of crowds, and that barn has gotten a lot more traffic over the past years. This barn was perfect for us! We were able to take our time and spend more time with the animals. We were the only ones there today! We even walked over to the little feed store on the property to look around, and we got some cute dog treats for our family dogs.
