5 Amazing Moms to meet in this lifetime

Moth·er (noun): the single most loved person in the world.

Good morning, Happy Friday. As we all count down the final days for our big day (Yes, Mother’s Day), my most sincerest wish is that YOU are treated like a QUEEN that day. We deserve to be spoiled every single day, but there is just something extra special on Mother’s Day. ❤️  It is an extra special day where we are recognized for all the roles we take on every day. We really are like Barbie. We are taxi drivers, we are corporate girlies, we are homemakers, we are commanders of the kitchen, we are activity directors, we are part of the Paw Patrol Squad. We wear so many hats. Let’s take a day to be proud and graceful for all we do for our children every day. For the sacrifices we make for our children, the nights we stay up comforting them, and the endless times we pick them up when they fall down. Today, I want to highlight 5 fellow moms who inspire me in one way or another. They lead by example in how they raise their children with faith and positivity, with hope and kindness, with love and gentleness.  They are real about motherhood.  I always find myself smiling and finding my motherhood experiences a whole lot more relatable regardless if I am speaking to them in person or simply looking at their latest post on social media. This Sunday don’t forget to celebrate yourselves Mommas, your mom, your tias and anyone who is a mother on their day. It Is OUR day.

What does Motherhood mean to me?

Motherhood is the birth of a you that you never knew existed. It is the selfless, courageous, and strong you. Someone who has sacrificed their whole life to feel an unconditional love like no other. Someone who despite feeling like giving up the night before, wakes up happy as ever to do it all again the next day. It is learning patience, strength, and bravery. Motherhood is a privilege and a reward.

What I love most about being a mom:

I love that i always have a best friend by my side. That no matter how alone i feel, I know that I will get to come home to my little best friend, my person and that they will always need their momma as much as I will always need them.

What does Motherhood mean to me?

Motherhood means everything to me. I am so lucky that I have two handsome healthy boys. Each day is a blessing with them. Motherhood is everything in itself. It’s hard work but worth it in every way possible, especially going from one child to two. More love to give and to receive. Its love, inspiring, can be tiring at times but overall amazing. Each day has its obstacles to overcome such as school events, doctor visits, play dates, work, vacation, coparenting and quality time together. With each obstacle overcome though, something new is learned. Being a mom is learning and growing ❤️ we try our best and yet always feel we could’ve/can do more no matter what. No matter if we show up and show out, we are our biggest critics. But Our love is pure, it’s true. A mother’s love is truly the best, and our children see it no matter how big or small ❤️ motherhood is everything.

What I love most about being a mom:

What I love most about being a mom, is seeing my kids happy. Sounds cliche, but it’s the truth. Seeing them learn and grow and enjoy life. A smile on their face everyday is what makes me the happiest. Simple things like picking up my youngest from daycare and the little happy bounce he does when they hand him to me is the best, “there’s mommy.” Or teaching my oldest to ride a bike and him asking me everyday to ride to it school and even in bad situations where he popped his bike tire and was sad about it but also being happy about it because he’ll know it will get fixed. He knows that I am there for him always, he can rely on me or his family. Or asking me on my days off if me and his brother can have lunch with him at school and when we show up, you can see his whole world light up. My children are loved, cared for, safe, happy with life. Seeing, giving and receiving happiness is all I need as a mother ❤️

What does Motherhood mean to me?

To me Motherhood means more than can be put into words. Before my kids I was entitled, selfish, and thought the world revolved around me. Having my kids has changed my whole outlook on life. My kids have taught me life lessons I wouldn’t have received anywhere else, patience, selflessness, and understanding. They give me the strength and endurance to get through hard times because I know they’re counting on me. And ultimately they’ve given me the experience of unconditional love which is something that is priceless to me. Being a Mom means everything to me because they are my whole world and the heartbeat that keeps me going.

One advice that I got as a mom that I would give other moms:

One advice I could give to a Mom, is don’t compare. Don’t compare your kids to others and don’t compare other mom’s to you. There is not ONE way to parent a kid, or ONE way a child should learn/develop/behave. Trust that the way you parent is the best for YOUR child and don’t question your gut.

What does Motherhood mean to me?

Motherhood is beautiful, emotional, and sometimes chaotic, but in the absolute best way!  Seeing the different stages of my child and hopefully guiding him along the way, is the coolest thing. It also helps me grow as a person. We learn new things from each other

What is your favorite tradition that you’ve created for your little one?

My favorite tradition is our Mother’s Day hike. My big fur baby will also get to join us this year!

What does Motherhood mean to me?

Motherhood is the greatest honor to me. With [honor] comes great responsibility. Motherhood means I was entrusted to raise saints for God’s kingdom. It is such a blessing to experience the purest form of human love possible.

What was something you liked about the way you were raised that you wanted to do for your children?

My Mother instilled a love of God in us as children. My faith and God’s grace has sustained me through all of life’s challenges. This is the inheritance I want to give to my children.

A Big thank you to all the wonderful moms for being part of my Blog. It means the world to me.
