Vision boards and Los Reyes Magos

Hi friends! Happy Sunday. I am here to officially remind you that it’s not too late to make your 2026 Vision board. I had so much fun making mine, and making one has now officially become a yearly tradition for my sister and I. Last year, I wrote about how successful and FUN our first vision board night was–>leaving it here for you to read if you missed it.

We took some time this year to reflect on our previous year accomplishments and things we still needed to keep on our boards. For me personally, my board is not so much to focus on manifesting my goals but rather as a visual reminder to look at them constantly. A daily reminder to work for them, see how much I’ve acconplished, and continue to pray on them.

We are ready 2026

In 2025, we crossed off many things off our boards, and it was so cool to look back and see how far we got with our goals. I crossed off 3 BIG goals halfway through the year, which was insane, but also meant some other goals like traveling took a pause for me.

Los Reyes Magos

Ever since we were little, my parents had us write los Reyes Magos (3 Wise Men) a letter asking them for what we wanted that year. We would get so excited as we left our shoe out the night before and stuck our handwritten letter inside. When morning came, we had exactly what we asked for. To me, it was even more magical than the idea of writing Santa a letter, and that is how we raised our kids. As we grew older into our teen years, we stopped writing to Los Reyes Magos, but our parents never stopped this tradition. We would find our shoe out in the living room with some snacks next to it, something so simple as a COKE and chips was perfect for us in our teenage years. We don’t deserve our parents because that was just magical and will forever be a core memory of our childhood.  Growing up in a Mexican household that is always rich in traditions, I just knew when my first one was born 16 years ago that it was something we wanted her and our future kids to always look forward to. Fast forward 16 years and two more kids later, we continue to celebrate this tradition that means so much to our culture and our faith. From explaining the menaing behind Los Reyes Magos to helping them write their letter the night before and then watching them put their shoe out the night before. Of course, we end the night and the Christmas season gathering with family to share a piece of la rosca and some delicious hot chocolate.

Whether I have convinced you to make a vision board or not, thanks for reading my blog. My hope for you friends is that all your goals come true and that 2026 is a year full of health, peace, and prosperity. What are some of your goals for this year? Share in the comments below.
